Job Description:
We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join our team and oversee the FDR (First Tier, Downstream, and Related Entities) Oversight Program. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization and its affiliates comply with all applicable regulations, policies, and standards related to FDRs. The Compliance Manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks, improve processes, and maintain a high standard of compliance. This position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s integrity while ensuring adherence to federal and state guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the FDR Oversight Program to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and practices for FDR oversight and compliance.
  • Oversee risk assessments for first-tier, downstream, and related entities, ensuring that their activities align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits, reviews, and investigations to identify non-compliance issues and take corrective action.
  • Collaborate with other compliance, legal, and operational teams to drive continuous improvement in FDR oversight processes.
  • Provide training and education to internal staff and FDRs on compliance requirements, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure that the program stays up-to-date with any changes in laws, regulations, or industry best practices.
  • Prepare and submit reports on compliance status, audit findings, and corrective actions to senior management and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Respond to compliance inquiries and manage escalations regarding FDR oversight and compliance concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or auditing, with at least 2 years in FDR oversight or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMS regulations, healthcare laws, and compliance requirements related to FDRs.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience conducting audits and investigations, as well as providing compliance training and guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and regulatory agencies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar compliance certification is preferred.
